How I Love Thee, Let Me Count the Ways......

A couple in our church is getting ready to celebrate their 60th year of marriage. That is unfathomable because Ally and I are getting ready to celebrate 5 weeks of marriage. The incredible source of grace and joy and refinement that has come in this short time only makes me wonder what it will be like in a couple months, in a couple years, and in a couple of decades. To the best of my ability, I have a deep love for Ally but in 5 years from now I will look back and see the superficial love I have for her right now. She truly is the grace of life and a source of joy. These are 10 reason why I love her and am so thankful she is the wife that God is graciously letting me borrow for the coming years.

10. She serves as an example for me to imitate in loving others
a
9. She has a gracious and compassionate heart
a
8. She is consistent in her love for Christ and for others
a
7. The complete ability she has to work through any situation handling it with grace and forgiveness
a
6. The incredible ability she has to act with discernment and compassion in different situations
a
5. The depths of love she has for each member of her family
a
4. If she were born a male, she would have made an excellent preacher. But now she can preach to me, which is way better.
a
3. She puts up with me DAILY
a
2. She loves the Word and the wisdom of God more than anything else
a
1. She loves Christ more than she will ever love me
